New Cases Added To The Database

I have added a few cases in the last week. You can see them all if you visit the database which you can do using this link.

I won’t list all of the cases added here as most of them are old cases which I have come across. The important recent ones are

R (ex parte AIN) v London Borough of Tower Hamlets 2025 which concerns an application for a mandatory order requiring the council to provide suitable accommodation.

Hasan v Bristol City Council 2025 which concerns the issue of whether tenants have to use a landlords internal complaints procedure to get disrepair dealt with before they can issue legal proceedings.

Problems Faced By Successful Asylum Seekers

I have written a post about the common problem of successful asylum seekers being kicked out of their Home Office Accommodation before they have been provided with accommodation by a local authority under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996.  The link is here.
